Job Title: Private Chef
Location: Private Household, Deia, Mallorca
Role Overview: We are seeking an exceptional Private Chef with expertise in creating healthy, vibrant dishes packed with flavor. Ideal candidates will have a passion for sourcing premium
ingredients and enjoys preparing diverse international cuisines. The house has its own vegetable garden and a working olive grove, for homegrown ingredients. The chef will be responsible for daily meal preparation—including breakfast, lunch, afternoon snacks, and dinner—and catering for regular social events hosted at the residence.
Responsibilities:
Culinary Duties:
● Prepare healthy, vibrant meals focused on nutritional quality and exceptional taste.
● Cater daily for breakfast, lunch, afternoon snacks, and dinner.
● Coordinate with the household waitress to source, select, and manage inventory of the highest quality ingredients, emphasizing local and sustainable produce.
Cuisine Specialization:
● Create menus showcasing a wide variety of international dishes.
● Adapt menus to a variety of dietary preferences and nutritional requirements without compromising taste.
Events Catering:
● Plan and execute catering for social events, ranging from intimate gatherings to larger social events at the estate.
● Coordinate closely with household staff and management to ensure seamless event execution.
Kitchen Management:
● Maintain cleanliness and high standards of hygiene in kitchen and storage areas.
● Oversee kitchen equipment maintenance and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
Qualifications & Requirements:
● Expertise in healthy cooking methods and nutritional cuisine.
● Proven experience with various international culinary styles.
● Excellent organizational and menu-planning skills.
● Flexible availability to cater to events and varied schedules, including weekends and evenings.
